Following NFO in August, new faculty meet once a week for (at least) the first 6 weeks to reconnect about topics, such as:

  • Advice from other Junior Faculty on advising and mentoring Independent Study thesis students
  • Maintaining your research as a new faculty member
  • Digital Scholarship & Digital Pedagogies
  • Teaching Writing Across the Curriculum
  • Interdisciplinary Opportunities for Collaboration
  • Connecting Students with Experiential Learning and other opportunities
  • Life-Work Balance for New Faculty Members
  • And time for Anonymous Questions …
